The backgrounds are enhanced with funny animated movements, mostly suitable for strengthening the comedic elements. I believe that over 80% of the audience receives the humor well and enjoys it. The cheerful and relaxed atmosphere sets the stage for presenting beautiful, simple, and audience-friendly concepts in the story. Interestingly, the ease and relaxed nature even reflect in the animation style and design. It’s noticeable that the creators effortlessly changed the animation style in some parts, introducing sudden shifts to music and dance in certain scenes. This flexibility in presenting content is observable in ‘Leo.’

In ‘Leo,’ characters face challenges and confrontations, and the light nature of the work ensures that concepts are neither very bad nor very good. However, the story and structure of the animation have some issues, especially in parts presenting music or in the climax of the story towards the end of the animation when Leo faces wildlife, leading to a confrontation between the teacher and the children with the crocodile. Still, since this animation doesn’t fall into the category of top works, these flaws are not considered significant.

Overall, it can be said that ‘Leo’ is a good and sweet animation. It has a simple and light story while reminding the audience of simple concepts. Considering the weak animations produced in the year, this animation can be considered among the top animations of 2023.
